Conference Venue: The University of Birmingham

The Conference will be held in the Physics West Building: Room 117 of the main University of Birmingham campus (see map below).
The University boasts its own railway station aptly called University with services running every ten minutes at peak times.

Accomodation

The conference accomodation has been arranged at the Hotel ibis budget. It includes bed and breakfast from Sunday night until Friday night. Check-in is Sunday anytime after 14:00 and check-out is Saturday before 12:00.

Travel information to Birmingham

By Air

Birmingham - There are regular scheduled flights from around Europe to Birmingham International Airport.
There are trains into the city centre (Birmingham New Street Station) directly from the airport. Duration: 15 mins.

London - Trains leave from London Euston to Birmingham New Street every 20 minutes during the day. Duration: 1h30 - 2h.
Alternative trains leave from London Marylebone to Birmingham Moor Street Station every 20 minutes. Duration: 2h.
Coaches are also available directly from each London Airport (Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted) to Birmingham.

Manchester - Trains leave from the airport. Changes will be required, either at Crewe or Manchester Picadilly. Duration: 2h. Coaches are also available.

Liverpool - Hub for Ryanair and Easyjet, so can be good for cheap flights.
Trains direct from Liverpool South Parkway (short, inexpensive bus ride from the airport) to Birmingham New Street. Duration: 1h30.

By Train

Trains from all over the country run to Birmingham New Street. Other services are available to Birmingham Moor Street and Snow Hill stations both located in the heart of the city. More Info.
Eurostar services run into London St Pancras Station. From here it is a short walk (10mins) to London Euston where trains can be boarded for Birmingham New Street. Eurostar
